Coming July 22nd: Auto/Mate University (AMU) Migration & Redesigned Landing Page
On Monday, July 22nd, all users will see Auto/Mate’s new redesigned landing page when logging into the DMS. This redesigned landing page will feature more robust in-app messaging capabilities, access to Solera University™, and a new Virtual Assistant Customer Support Chat with access to live agents.
Accessing Solera University™: There will be a new link on the redesigned landing page to access Solera University™. Solera University™ will be the new home for all training materials, computer-based training, and how-to's. After logging in, you will find a ‘Getting Started’ instructional video that explains how to access the content and training on Solera University™. All users will receive an email to the address listed in their user settings that will provide new credentials to log into Solera University™. This email will come from no-reply@solerauniversity.com with a subject line: Welcome to Solera University. Please check your Spam folder if you do not see this email on July 22nd.
Customer Support Virtual Assistant Chat: We are excited to introduce a new way to access Auto/Mate Customer Support – Virtual Assistant Chat. Users can interact with the Virtual Assistant Chat and receive recommended guides and information to assist with their concerns. Live agents will also be available via the new chat feature.

** ATTENTION: Accounting Users **
Due to changes in the most recent release AMPS 3.6.302, printing options have changed in a few areas of the Accounting module. In menu options 21- Schedules and 25 – Missing Document Report, the ESC key as the direct to print function has been changed to perform the Print Preview function, and the former F7 Print Preview option has been removed altogether. In 29 #1 – Autopost Transaction Summary, the Print Code line has been removed, while the ESC Process Report key will allow the report to be displayed on screen.
** ATTENTION: Vermont Payroll Users **
To implement functionality for the new Child Care Contribution (effective 7/1/24), we have added tax code VTEECCC in the most recent AMPS release 3.6.302. As a reminder, all employers are required to pay this tax, but they may deduct up to 0.11% from an employee’s wages if they choose to do so. You will find a new field available in the Edit Tax Data screen where that rate can be set for a specific employee. The rest of the contribution must be paid by the employer. ** ATTENTION: Maryland Payroll Users **
In the most recent Payroll release, Maryland county income tax rates were updated to reflect the new 2024 rates and delete the old rates. Due to this change, a review of your Employees under the Payroll System Main Menu>Setups will be necessary to ensure the appropriate county rates are in place for each employee.
** ATTENTION: New Customer Portal to Create & Manage Support Cases **
Packaged in the next Update you receive will be a link to login to our NEW Customer Portal. This link will be in the dropdown when you click on the
(Help icon) in the upper right corner of your Auto/Mate session. Once Activated this will allow you to submit & manage cases in Salesforce as well as view cases submitted by others at the Dealership. You will also gain access to our Knowledge Base of articles to learn how to resolve many common questions.

** ATTENTION: South Carolina payroll users **
For purposes of reporting the required SOC codes, in recent AMPS release 3.6.289, the Business Title field of the Employee master file has been set to pull to the SC UI Quarterly Extract report. An added field for the SOC code is planned for future development, but please use the Business Title field to record the SOC codes until such time.
ATTENTION: Sales & Finance Forms
Reynolds & Reynolds will be doing a mandatory update of their SC & MN & OK LAW 553 PDFs Laser Contracts on 08/01/24, if you have these forms on your menu, please note the current revisions will be removed from your menu and the new form will be added on the morning of 08/01/24. Any form packages will need to be updated to reflect the new revision of the form.
